Bio
Toni Johnston is a very special resident at Cedars and has lived within this community for over 75 years. She has been drawing and painting her entire life, and appreciates how her work helps her “figure things out”. Her biggest source of inspiration is from the natural world and she is happiest outdoors in the fresh air. Toni excels at painting the detail of textures found in nature as a result of practicing plein air painting as a young adult. Toni is an accomplished weaver as well; she loves to see how the fiber colors blend as she weaves fabric.
