Benji is an enthusiastic, independent new artist at FAS. Skilled at copying images, he is learning to use his saturated brushstrokes and strong graphic sense to find his own unique voice. He loves depicting animals, such as in his watercolor series of animals symbolizing the signs of the zodiac. He is also learning to work with ceramics and shows a talent for incising images in clay. His ceramics teacher says he works with a smile on his face.
